History

Armand Martel was recruited by Bruce Banner to serve as one of the experts who made up his team of Hulkbusters, whose job was to subdue his own alter ego, the Hulk.

Martel eventually left the Hulkbusters along with his teammate Hideko Takata after a diagnosis of a serious illness in order to recuperate.
