History
Artemis Boleyn was born in the United Kingdom. Her family were distant relatives of the queen's third cousin and thus were quite rich. Unfortunately, her father fell victim to a Ponzi scheme and lost all their money. The family moved to the United States of America, where Mr. Boleyn hoped to earn money, but failed. When Artemis was 5 years old her father told her "toodle pip" and committed suicide right in front of her. It shocked Artemis so much what she manifested her mutant powers and teleported away.[1]
For the next 20 years she used her powers to visit various crime scenes and to secretly follow celebrities and superheroes. At some point Artemis, under the alias Toodle Pip, started the "Pip Squeaks" blog, where she shared the secrets she discovered, for example, about Guy Smith's underwear and Captain America's eye drops. One of her targets was the X-Cellent, and her posts in blog attracted attention of the team's leader Zeitgeist. He had long wanted to find a better teleporter for his team instead of Whoosh, whose power was uncontrollable and inaccurate. Impressed by Toodle Pip's powers, Zeitgeist captured her and killed Whoosh in front of her to force her to join the team.[1] Toodle Pip helped the team for some time, but was eventually killed by Zeitgeist as well.[2]Attributes
