Arthur "Anton" Chekov was an elderly boarder of Peter Parker's Aunt May, and a friend of her fellow boarder Nathan Lubensky.

Chekov's granddaughter Bette got mixed up with Parker's alter ego Spider-Man when she got involved in a drug deal that went wrong.
