History

Ash was created by Gulliver Jones, a young inventor who wanted to make Britain's Human Torch android. When a bomb destroyed the laboratory of Jones and severely damaged him, Ash decided to heal his creator, using his flame powers. He not only healed Jones, but also granted him similar superpowers.
