Synopsis for 1st story

Nebula is testing the Naglfar Beacon. She uses it on the planet Netredeen and calls forth the inhabitants' undead Gods. Kid Loki can hear the horn but the Asgardians of the Galaxy arrive to late to stop the slaughter of the Netredi by their own gods. Kid Loki tells Angela that he has split in two and is a shadow or a figment of his adult self. He confesses to forging the Naglfar Beacon and keeping it a secret as he knew that such a terrible weapon that can call forth Armageddon must be kept hidden away. A horrified Angela accuses Loki of recklessness for allowing the beacon to be discovered by Nebula and demands to know the reasons for creating such an awful thing. Loki says that he needs it to win the impending War Of the Realms. Meanwhile, at Chandilar, Gladiator and the Shi'ar Imperial Guard confronts Nebula who has turned up with her Armada including an undead Thor.

Solicit Synopsis

ALL DEAD GODS GO TO WAR!

Angela’s ragtag team of Asgardians are hot on Nebula’s trail — but she’s left a grisly gift behind. With the power of the Naglfar Armada at her cybernetic fingertips, Nebula is unleashing hordes of undead gods to ravage the galaxy. And its only defenders are a slightly traitorous Executioner, a half-mortal Valkyrie, a lost Asgardian huntress, a hammer-wielding teenager, a suit of ancient armor and a frog. And if the rest of the team finds out who’s behind the Destroyer’s faceplate, things will go from bad to Ragnarok. Guest-starring Gladiator and the Imperial Guard!

Trivia

  • The dying alien's last words can be deciphered as "Just one more potato chip"
  • The undead god kids' dialogue uses a different script that deciphers as, "eat", "your", "vegtables", "kale is tasty".
