Silk ventured into the Negative Zone in search of her parents and arrived there she found herself embroiled in a battle between the Ash King and his army against the Red Knight and the Knights of Gheva. Silk intervened to help the Red King who turned out to be Silk's mother.[1]
Silk's mother related that she and her father had gone to the Negative Zone to find a cure for Silk itself, but upon arriving there, Silk's father was taken prisoner by the Ash King while his mother led the rebellion against Ash King by becoming the Red Knight. With Silk's help, the Knights of Gheva fought on a par with the Ash King's army as Red Knight put an end to the Ash King himself and with him his army was reduced to ashes.[2]
