History
Asmodeus is a demon or other extradimensional being who manifests as an amorphous creature. It was worshiped by a Satanic cult known as the Enclave, who attempted to summon it to Earth and believed it would grant them great power. The Enclave made numerous attempts to summon Asmodeus across multiple decades. In one attempt, Asmodeus's power caused the unborn Joshua and Angela Farkas to be marked by it, each of them being born with its inverted cross marked on their skin. A second attempt caused the now adult Joshua to be transformed into the Dimensional Man, becoming an incubus who drained the life of others to survive.
In the cult's final attempt to summon Asmodeus, they offered it the innocent Angela as a 'bride'. Asmodeus manifested physically, and impregnated the helpless Angela. However, it was driven back to its extradimensional realm when Angela called upon the vampire Dracula to save her, and his attack on the cult on the ritual was enough to make the Dimensional Man turn against the cult to save his sister.[1]See Also
