The Atlantean Hypnosis Statue was an ancient statue used in ages past by the Atlanteans. The statue emitted rays when exposed to air and sunlight which would hypnotize those who looked at it. When the Human Torch challenged the Sub-Mariner to a fight, the Sub-Mariner used it to hypnotize Torch to convince him that he liked him before hitting him and knocking him into the water.[1]
