History
The Atomic Activator was a nuclear powered device created by Reed Richards. When Doctor Doom switched bodies with Richards, he planned to use the device to power the Reducing Ray and shrink the other members of the Fantastic Four to an infinitesimally small size. His plan fell through, however, when they suspected the truth after Doom tried to escape harm and Richards tried to save the other members when the Human Torch created a mirage of a stick of dynamite.
