Synopsis for "Adaptation"

Captain America faces off against Batroc the Leaper and his brigade in the streets of New York City. After Captain America defeats Batroc and his thugs, Thor enters and congratulates Steve on his victory. Captain America states he isn't used to the future, but Thor assures that he will adapt to it eventually. Immediately afterwords, Iron Man calls for the Avengers to assemble at a Stark Industries warehouse where A.I.M. is raiding his technology.

Cap and Thor make it to the scene to discover a Super Adaptoid that copies their abilities. The remaining Avengers arrive to assist the two only for the Adaptoid to replicate their abilities as well. Captain America discovers the weak point in it's chest and strikes a devastating blow to the Adaptoid, shutting it down for good.

Steve returns to his bedroom at the Avengers Mansion to find a gift (an MP3 player) given to him by Wasp. He changes the playlist on his MP3 from the 'Greatest Hits of the 1940s' to 'Modern' and listen to the music with grin on his face.
