History

The Avengers shared a similar history to there Prime Universe counterpart. Until after a meeting in which Rick Jones was raised as a member of the Avengers which Cap declined. Immortus who sought to lure the Avengers into a trap. Teaming up with the Masters of Evil, Immortus lured Rick Jones into a trap with the promise of super-powers. The Masters of Evil struck again shortly thereafter, this time recruiting the time traveler known as Immortus to assist them. Immortus first captured Rick Jones and Captain America, banishing them to the Tower of London in the 6th Century. However, the two men broke free and forced Immortus to return them to their proper time. They arrived just as the other Avengers were defeating the Masters of Evil. Seeing this current attempt to destroy the Avengers to be a failure, the Enchantress used a spell to reverse time so they could avoid working with Immortus, thus erasing the Avengers memory of the encounter.
