Synopsis for "Move Fast"
The Daily Bugle’s Marcus Wetherell reports on Doctor Doom’s sudden takeover of the country and the ensuing chaos. He tells of a new HYDRA splinter group kidnapping superhumans even as the fascists break into Willow-Wisp’s apartment to take him. Malphegor, disciple of Cyttorak, assists in the arrest of Jara of the Riven Sky in her ice cream parlor. Morgan Red and Martha Johannson watch the broadcast in horror before it is interrupted by HYDRA forces who take the newsman into custody. Sinthea Shmidt taunts Marcus aboard a train full of captured enemies of HYDRA, destined for a secret location where she can extort them for slave labor. The students of Avengers Academy watch the speeding train over a cliffside before Blackheart portals them on top of the train. Escapade takes the lead as the team breaks in and they liberate the enslaved, whisking them back to the Academy. Reaching safety, they are offered the choice of staying or pursuing safety abroad. Finding Marcus in chains but still arguing with Sin, Escapade breaks into action and attacks the HYDRA leader. In Doomstadt, the world’s new Sorcerer Supreme is briefed on HYDRA’s activities in America, and the presence of his sworn enemy Mephisto’s child Blackheart. A squadron of Doombots has already been sent, but Doom asserts that he will right this incursion into the dimension of men. Blackheart and the students assist more people on the train in escaping before looking up to see the Doombots coming to remove Blackheart from the planet Earth.
