Synopsis for "Home"

Bloodline and her friends take a moment together before she knocks on her mother’s front door at her home in Atlanta, Georgia. Safron Caulder opens the door and gives her daughter a big hug before meeting her classmates. Lunella asks if there are any LEGOs for her to play with, and Safron sets her up with some of Brielle’s old toys while catching up with her daughter, insinuating that Bloodline’s recent adventure with the young Spider-Man had paid romantic dividends. Brielle quickly shuts down any ideas of a relationship between her and Miles, and almost comes out to her mother before losing her nerve and hurrying outside to go on patrol.

Leaving Aaron and Lunella behind, she returns to her old hunting grounds, seeing a light inside her old high school. Investigating, she encounters Apostate, and the two battle while Bloodline asks why Apostate has come to Atlanta. She reveals that someone has promised her a cure to her vampirism, and that she is merely a distraction while others threaten her friends at home. At the Caulder residence, Lunella answers the door to find D.O.A., who unleashes magic upon them and ties them up in their living room. Bloodline returns to the scene with Apostate on her tail, D.O.A. telling her to invite the vampire in and let herself be bound. Emplate appears to his captive audience, his grand speech paused when he realizes that Bloodline’s girlfriend, Escapade, is nowhere to be found. He is further shaken as he finds he recognizes the house he and his compatriots have invaded, at which point Safron recognizes him and calls him by his name - Marius.

Solicit Synopsis

Brielle Brooks, taking a break from her relationship and seeking to better understand who she is, travels home to Atlanta to kick off summer break - and come out to her mom! But things take a turn when APOSTATE attacks, but she’s not working alone. Part 1 of 3!
