Synopsis for "I've Been in the Desert with an Orb with No Shame"

Hawkeye and the Orb battle in the Mojave Desert until they call an uneasy truce, deciding they need to conserve all the energy they can for their walk back to civilization. After several hours of walking, they reach an undisclosed town that is being patrolled by the Orb's gang. As soon as he sees his lackeys, the Orb orders them to kill Hawkeye. To his great surprise however, they are not truly his gang, but merely some of Plantman's simulacrums in disguise, and they turn on the Orb as well, stunning him with an energy beam. Hawkeye does his best to fight his way through this new threat, admitting that he is out-numbered and low on trick arrows. When his quiver finally runs out, he resolved to fight off the remaining creatures by hand, and is aided by the timely arrival of Wonder Man, who is only the first of the Avengers to arrive on the scene. With Plantman's forces defeated, Dr. Pym loads Hawkeye onto an Avengers quinjet to take him back home.

Synopsis for "Comedy of Eros"

Starfox travels to Rescorla, ostensibly to purchase a metabolic partner, i.e. a human companion. In reality he has come to free Heater Delight, who had been sold into slavery by Black Roger. The Rescorlans are an incredibly repressed, easily offended society, and Starfox is attacked by one after committing a cultural faux pas by commenting on the weather. However, he uses his superhuman ability to alter emotions to pacify his attacker and have him lead him to Heater Delight. The purchase is successfully completed, however the Rescorlan realizes he has been manipulated and an armed posse soon surrounds Starfox and Heater. A forcefield surrounding the market prevents flight or teleportation, however Starfox uses a super-powered leap, a move he claims he learned from the Hulk, to escape the area, landing next to his starship. The couple leave the planet in safety.
