The Avengers investigate Hercules' disappearance. Thor follows his own godly instincts and makes his way to Olympus where he is attacked. Back on Earth, the Avengers battle Artemis, Dionysus, and Hermes. The Avengers are defeated and taken back to Olympus where an enraged Zeus blames them for his son's comatose state.
Notes
- Hercules is taken from the Newhope Memorial Hospital by the Olympian Gods posing as Thor, where he'd been recovering since being brutally assaulted by six members of the Masters of Evil in Avengers #274.
- Blaming the Avengers for what happened to Hercules, various Olympian Gods assault and kidnap the team, taking them to Mount Olympus to be judged by Zeus.
