Synopsis for ""If Wishes Were Horses...""
The Ebony Blade's blood curse has been reawakened on account of having been used by Namor to kill Marrina. Its effect begins to overwhelm the Black Knight and he is forced to don an exoskeleton to combat his worsening paralysis. Captain Marvel reverts back to her Human form after her fight with Marrina. The effects of the battle leave her withered and close to death. Meanwhile, a member of the Kang Korps is revealed to be Nebula. She makes her way to Earth in order to secure control over the Avengers.
Notes
- Black Knight begins wearing an exo-skeleton in order to move due to a paralysis slowly being brought on by the blood curse of the Ebony Blade.
- Captain Marvel is revealed to have expended a tremendous amount of energy battling Marrina in Avengers Vol 1 293. It leaves her powerless and emaciated. She next appears (and gains slightly altered powers in Captain Marvel Volume 2 Vol 1 1.
- Doctor Druid mentally manipulates the other Avengers into electing him chairman.
