—Captain America (Steve Rogers)This victory changed nothing. We remain outgunned, fractured and, because they have taken so many worlds, we've lost the only real advantage we had... We're outmanned. So why are we sill going to meet with them even if they though they have ill intent? Because there's really only one move we have left to make. We surrender.

Synopsis for "The Offer"
Shang-Chi, Spider-Woman, Black Widow, and Manifold rescue the captured Avengers from the Builders’ doomed command ship. Later, Abyss recounts to Ex Nihilo that before they escaped, the Builders’ Gardener, Ex Nihila, telepathically requested to meet with the two of them. Ex Nihilo and Abyss find Ex Nihila and a large group of Gardeners on a distant planet. The Gardeners are in disbelief that this Abyss is still alive. They reveal that the Abyssi that were paired with each of them died thousands of years earlier, when the Builders ordered the Gardeners to start destroying life instead of creating it. Ex Nihilo proclaims that the time of the Gardeners being killers is over.
Meanwhile, the Avengers and the Galactic Council strategize on their next move. While the Council wants to fight, Captain America suggests they talk to the Builders instead. One Builder has stayed behind on Hala. As he flaunts his fleet’s strength over Ronan the Accuser and the Kree Supreme Intelligence, they receive a message from Gladiator requesting parley. The Builder agrees and orders Ronan to gather the Accusers to witness what comes next.
On the Shi’ar ship, Gladiator shares that while their parley has been accepted, they should not trust the Builder. Captain America agrees and admits that they remain outmatched. He says they only have one move left to make - to surrender.
