History
Avram was the youngest son of Dr. Simon Bock who sacrificed himself to save Avram during the bombing of Warsaw. Later Simon, possessed by the Death's avatar John Kowalski, and his future son-in-law, the American diplomat Mitchell Townshend, posing as all Americans and hiding the fact that they were Jews, managed to get the whole family to flee from Nazi-occupied Poland.[1]
