History
Bal Cyphyro was a disciple of Dormammu. When he noticed Doctor Stephen Strange wondering around the Astral plane of the Dark Dimension, he was able to fend off any attack from the sorcerer and preceded to capture him, place him on his mighty demonic bull, and attempted to take him to his master, Dormammu. He did not care what his master chose to do with him because he served at the beck-and-call of his master. When they were close to Dormammu's domain, Stephen was able to use a minor spell to shift their trajectory just enough to fall into a pile Mindless Ones. They preceded to tear him and his bull apart, giving Strange a chance to escape.[1]
