History
The Barbaric was a warrior god who served Karnilla, the Norn Queen who was twice unleashed upon Balder/ During there first battle, Balder was able to overwhelm the Barbaric and knocked him out.[1] Later, Karnilla summoned him again to attack Balder but none of his blows were able to injure him. After Karnilla gave Barbaric the tool to kill him, he tried to but Karnilla returned him back to his realm.[2]
Notes
In his appearance Thor #150 he is referred to as a Barbaric, but in Thor #304 he is referred to as The Barbaric. Whether barbaric is his name/title or just a descriptor is unclear. Thor: Asgard's Avenger #1 suggests it is the title of group of warriors
