Shutterbug joined a group of vigilante wannabe superheroes from Seattle who called themselves the X-Ceptionals. His job was to film the exploits of the various X-Ceptionals members but he was one of the first two victims of Scattershot, a genetically engineered warrior from Mojoworld, who killed him Insignia and mortally wounded him.[1]
He barely managed to drag himself home and deliver the camera with the footage of the murder to his mother only to bleed to death on the floor of his house.[2]
