History

Barth Bukowski.

Barth Bukowski was the S.H.I.E.L.D. regional chief in the Los Angeles area. He informed several S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, including Jerry Hunt and Laura Brown, that two agents of theirs - Jeff Cochren and Margaret Huff - disappeared when they were investigating a murder cult in Los Angeles. He ordered them to ascertain what happened to the duo.

Trivia

• As S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Regional Director for Los Angeles, Bukowski should have been involved in the operation against Pyrotechnics, or at least Jerry Hunt should have reported the results to Bukowski. However, Hunt was seen reporting directly to Nicholas Fury by videoconference from S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Los Angeles headquarters. Bukowksi was first seen in a different operation in Los Angeles soon after that. His previous absence has not been explained; he may have been unavailable at that point for any reason.
