History

Bartholemew Gallows "Americop" became a vigilante after resigning from the Houston Police, Bart became disillusioned with the judicial system and felt the process was too ineffective.

He had listened to security scanners around Houston, listening and tracking down criminals and wrongdoers.

When he felt that giving a speeding ticket, breaking up a fight, or a drug bust to be ineffective, instead, Bart went into Police academy training and didn't do well, resigning and becoming Americop. Using his new alias, he planned on proving that the number one police officer and the criminals worst nightmare is a self appointed vigilante. Americop idolizes Superman, and is an ultimate combination of a tough cop, egotistical feat artist, Judge Dredd, and The Punisher, and Americops exploits are none other as superficial as Hulk Hogan, Bill Clinton, Louis Marx Toy King of America, Duke Nukem, and the American Dream. Americop is reminiscent of many other fiction characters and action heroes, Arnold Shwarzenagger{super strength}, Scott Steiner{personality}, G.I. Joe Real American Hero{Slogans}, Bone Thugs n Harmony{The Double Glock tactics}, Captain America{Marvel Universe}, Army of Two({Armor tactics}, Americop is a imperial war machine, and state of the art personalized american soldier.

Childhood

Born on August 11, 1971, on an ultimate day of the astrological lion, Bart was constantly idolizing superheroes, and after awhile it turned into a personal interest. Barts most favorite always were dangerous Police combatives along with the She-hulk. Bart took freestyle Karate as a teenager only making it to black belt in his younger years prior to his law enforcement training. Bart also is a twelfth degree black belt in Ninjitsu and other mixed martial arts and studies back in his hometown practicing and self teaching in his spare time.

Due to his predilection towards wrestling with women wrestlers, and his interest in the She-hulk, Bart became unable to talk to to women, even though he was a decent looking guy throughout his younger years. Unable to take rejection, along with his fear of approaching women and a bit of a misogynist slant which kept him single, Bart focused his efforts instead on his personal accomplishments.

Adulthood

He would later decide to attend police academy training to become an authorized police officer, after the course, Bart successfully attempted to be hired into the Houston Police department. After months on the force he had only stopped one fellow once for possession of illegal drugs(Memory Cap #430 captured).

Bart left and thought things over at home, ate some food, watched some action movies, drank some beer, and hit the sack. The next morning, Bart resigned from the Houston Police.

Remembering the money he was going to write up for a report on the drugs, Bart paid a visit to a local weapons shop with it instead, a nicely sized one room army surplus style gun and body armor shop. The place was loaded with many types of weapons and different types of other equipment. Taking out a list he had compiled earlier, Bart bought a Kevlar face mask for close combat, a Kevlar vest with groin attachment, and two 45 caliber handguns. His favorite of these was the kevlar face mask, which enabled him to take minimal damage to the face in armed and unarmed combat.

The dealer inquired about Bart's civilian carrying license, instead selling him a new one. With his bags in tow, Bart left the weapons shop with a thankful attitude that made the dealer suspicious.

Career

Bart kept half the money of his defeated enemies and donates the rest to drug rehabilitation programs. Captain America condemned his brutalities and tried to stop him while facing Damon Dran. The two were knocked out by a gas grenade and imprisoned but later escaped. He killed a lot of Dran's men and thought that Dran died in a helicopter explosion.

After Civil War

After the Civil War, he was listed as a potential recruit for the Initiative by S.H.I.E.L.D.,[1] and on Thunderbolts' "Most Wanted" files. Osborn sent Bullseye and Penance to catch him, hoping that the vigilante killed them both or toughen Penance up. During the hunt Penance lets out a powerful energy blast (caused by Bullseye) that paralyzed Bart, who was bleeding and was taken to Thunderbolts mountain.
