History

Basil Crushstone was a deposed African dictator who took control of the mind of Queen Elizabeth II, intending to have her command the British Armed Forces to help him reclaim the country of Umbazi. However, his plan was thwarted by Captain Britain. Crushstone appeared to die when the plane he was attempting to escape in crashed into the sea, Inspector Dai Thomas having drained its fuel tanks without his knowledge.
