History

Batch-89 was a collection of animals genetically engineered by the High Evolutionary in his attempts to create a perfect race. However he deemed them too imperfect to be part of his Counter-Earth and, once they became no more useful to him, ordered to incinerate them. After learning of this, Rocket the Raccoon decided to escape with his friends, but they were shot down by the High Evolutionary. The only survivor, Rocket managed to flee.
