Synopsis for "Battle Brady"

Battle Brady is among a group of American soldiers that are pinned down in a fox hole under enemy fire. Their commanding office Sargent Socko Swenski is knocked out. However, Brady risks his life to toss a grenade over and blow up the Chinese soldiers shooting at them. They then begin blasting the surviving soldiers and miraculously manage to wipe out the entire attacking army. Brady then carries Swenski on his back across enemy lines and they just barely make it back across to their barracks, narrowly avoiding being razed by enemy machine gun fire. When a war correspondent commends Brady for bravely rescuing his commanding officer, Battle merely sneers and tells the reporter that he only did so because Swenski owes him 97 dollars and he didn't want him to cheat him out of the money he owes by dying.

When Swenski is revived with smelling salts, Battle Brady lays into him about the money that Swenski owes him. This argument reminds Socko about how before he was knocked out in a mortar blast, he recalled seeing the Chinese troops hauling boxes of dynamite along their line. This prompts concern and Swenski leads his troops across enemy lines in the dark where they get the drop on the sentries posted. Socko and Battle then overhear the commanding officers plot to evacuate their base after lighting up the explosives, so that when the American soldiers come to claim the base they would be killed in the resulting explosion.

Battle and Swenski then dive down and kill the two commanding officer, then leave a life grenade with the boxes of dynamite. They then dive for cover as the dynamite explodes wiping out the entire Chinese battalion. When they return to base, the war correspondent asks them to stand together for a picture, however Battle refuses to do so, once again brining up the money that Socko owes him, causing the pair to break into another argument.

Synopsis for "Battle Brady"

Battle Brady and Socko Swenski are once more having at it over the 97 dollars that Socko owes to Brady when they are attacked by Chinese forces. The pair quickly drop their argument to fight off their attackers. During the battle, Brady uses his grandfather's six-guns to blast a knife being thrown at him and shoot a live grenade before a Chinese soldier can throw it. With the attackers decimated, the soldiers begin to regroup. Brady notices that one of the Chinese soldiers is still alive and tosses his helmet at the enemy soldier before he can shoot Swenski in the back. Swenski is about to rough up the back-shooter when their interpreter informs them that the frightened enemy soldier has offered to give them important strategic information: That a bunch of American soldiers that were captured are going to be killed by a firing squad at dawn.

They decide to go by helicopter to rescue the troops and land near where the execution is about to take place. However, as they rush into battle, Brady realizes that he has dropped one of his grandfather's six-guns and insists on going back to look. Socko follows after him to try and get him to focus on the task. However when they get back to the helicopter they find that it is being attacked by Chinese soldiers. The two rush in with guns blazing, catching the enemy troops completely off guard, wiping them out. But they are too late to stop the pilot from being shot. Recovering his lost gun, Battle Brady has the wounded pilot show him how to operate the helicopter and Brady then uses it to fly over the enemy camp. When the enemy soldiers cluster together, Brady pulls a suicidal stunt -- causing the helicopter to fly upside-down and slaughtering the entire Chinese battalion with the chopper's rotor blades.

Miraculously able to right the chopper and land, Battle Brady is commended for his action. When asked where Swenski is, Battle points them back to the cockpit of the chopper where Swenski is still dazed from the crazy flight.
