An army platoon chasing down the enemy are attempting to flank them, but one of the paths is covered by mines. One of the soldiers alerts his superiors that anyone weighing under 150 lbs. wouldn't set off the mines. The platoon split up those weighing under 150 lbs. and those that did not which resulted in the enemy surrender.

Synopsis for "The Plot That Failed"
A Communist Polish ship is to dock in New York City, part of it's crew wishes to flee from it employ once docked. The captain of the ship finds out about their plan and orders one of his crew to build a reinforced container, unbeknownst to the carpenter that it was suppose to be for the mutinous crew. Once docked the captain ordered the crew into the container. Unbeknownst to the captain however the carpenter was suspicious and made a secret hatch as a means of escape allowing the crew to flee as the captain toasted his "victory".
