Synopsis for "Hell Hath No Fury!"
In Launch Baby Beta of the Battlestar Galactica, Apollo and Starbuck are preparing to board an armed scoutship, Shuttlescout Centaurus. They are to meet the incoming fleet of Scavege World ships. Aware that Queen Eurayle will probably use her mind control on Apollo (Starbuck is immune), Apollo is tied to his chair as a precaution. Eurale appears on the ship's viewscreen and indeed orders Apollo to kill Starbuck, but he is unable to move his arms. The Scavenge ships attack the Scuttlescout, but Starbuck proves to be a much better pilot and shot than any of the pirates.
Adama meets with Master-Tech Shadrack and tells him that the wreckage of the ship Starbuck used to escape from Scavenge World may provide clues to the location of the lost colony, Earth. As Shadrack leaves, Adama tells Lt. Jolly to enter, as he has a special assignment for him. Later, Boomer is surprised to see Jolly wearing an elaborate disguise and a new topknot hairstyle as he prepares to leave on his special mission.
Eurayle has agreed to a truce and boards the Centaurus along with her body guard, Corporal Grund. She releases Apollo from her mind control, who has come to the conclusion that Starbuck and Eurayle have to settle their differences in the Scavenge World style, in a duel to the death. A short while later, the two enemies face each other on the hull of the shuttlescout, wearing spacesuits and tied to each other at the wrist. Their only weapons are Impact War Hammers. Starbuck manages to cut open Eurayle's sleeve, but her suit is self-sealing. Starbuck loses his hammer and then the fight when Eurayle destroys the visor of his helmet.
Starbuck appears to be dead, and Corporal Grund tells Eurayle to cut the body loose. But Apollo insists that his friend's body is recovered. They take Starbuck's already frozen body inside the shuttlescout, where the wire between him and Eurayle is cut. Eurayle recovers the General's rank that Starbuck had won on Scavenge World and offers it to Apollo, but he refuses. After the Eurayle and Grund return to their ships and the Scavenge World ships depart, Starbuck reveals himself to still be alive. He had been wearing a thermal plastishield on his face to protect him from the cold of space, and was being fed air from Eurayle's life suport system through the rope that bound them together. All of this had been planned in advance by Apollo. As they prepare to return to the Galactica, they receive a message of Cylon Raiders attacking the fleet and are ordered to return immediately.
