History

Ben Grimm's history is presumably similar to his Earth-616 counterpart's except that he and his friend Reed Richards never traveled into space, and so never received superpowers. They eventually became agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. After several villains banished to the Negative Zone by Hyperion, Reed warned Hyperion of the situation. Ben expressed his admiration for Hyperion while he and Reed argued over using the Negative Zone as a prison. As Hyperion flew off to stop the villain, Ben cheered him on.

Later, he and Reed went to the White House to investigate strange energy readings and were accompanied by Daily Bugle photographer Peter Parker. The three met with President Coulson whose Pandemonium Cube was creating the energy readings. To keep this secret, Coulson killed Ben, Reed, and Peter.
