History

Ben Grimm was to be the pilot of the experimental starship led by Susan Storm but had to give up in order to follow the test of a major weapon system, the Gamma Bomb. During the test, Grimm was exposed to gamma radiation of the bomb to save the teenage Jean Grey transforming him into the monstrous Incredible Hulk.
