History
Ben was the son of Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson. During the early years of Ben's life, New York City was ravaged by the villainous Cadaverous and his minions. As Spider-Man, Ben's father managed to save the city, but Mary Jane died in the process.

Twelve years later, Ben was living with his Aunt May. Plagued by feelings of inadequacy and guilt, Peter left him under her care while he traveled constantly as a war photographer. At school, Ben was a troubled kid that often confronted bullies. One day, these interventions cost him detention after unwittingly thrusting through a door a student that he only meant to push aside. Since he was in town for a layover, Peter picked up Ben and tried to convince him to stop trying to help others since it could cause trouble, but Ben walked off in anger.
At detention, Ben befriended a girl named Faye Ito. Later at night, Ben had a nightmare in which he saw his mother. Upon waking up, he found himself attached to ceiling. Having anticipated the awakening of Ben's powers, Aunt May helped him out and instructed to look through his father's belongings in the attic, where Ben eventually found the Spider-Man suit.[2]Attributes
