History

Little is detailed about Scarlet Spider's life before the zombie plague arrived on Earth-2149, however it can be presumed that it followed much the same path as Scarlet Spider of Earth-616.

Presumably, Ben and New Warriors received a call from Nick Fury to join the resistance aboard the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier, and left to join them.

With the extremely varied bunch all assembled on the Helicarrier, Nick explained how serious he believed the situation to be; that it was the end of the world, and that whatever the stories of those assembled, they were now all on the same side.

Scarlet Spider was part of the team sent back down to the surface and was zombified, and after that, he participated in the attack on the Fantastic Four of Earth-1610, being unintentionally stepped on by Giant-Man when the Invisible Woman disoriented the horde.

• It appears to be that in this reality, Ben Reilly was never killed by the Green Goblin and is still active as Scarlet Spider. It is also possible that Ben Reilly and Peter Parker's adventures before the infection is set during The Clone Saga, or that that event did not happen in the same way, or at all, even.
