History

The man who believed to be the original Bentley Wittman was actually a clone of the prime one (a.k.a. the Wizard), created by the son/clone of him, Bentley-23 when the villain took the Fantastic Four to court trying to obtain legal custody of Bentley. The smart boy didn't trust the legal system, so realizing the Wizard was spying his actions using a technology that allowed him to see through the boy's eyes, Twenty-Three hacked that technology and used the Wizard's clonation machines to create the "Perfect Clone", so that his genetic track would be voluntarily more marked than the original one. That convinced "Bentley-2" to give up the trial, so that Bentley-23 could be left with his tutor Dragon Man.
