History

S.I.L.E.N.T. adopted a business façade, the Beyond Corporation, which managed to become H.A.T.E. (Highest Anti-Terrorism Effort)'s primary backer due to the openness of the government bidding process. After discovering the link between S.I.L.E.N.T., the Beyond Corp., and H.A.T.E., the team Nextwave. stole the experimental Shockwave Rider aircraft and went rogue. Tabitha Smith somehow managed to make off with Beyond Corp's. "marketing plan," a document detailing their plan to test unconventional weapons of mass destruction on the American public, including the draconic alien Fin Fang Foom and the other-dimensional Mindless Ones. Ever since, the team has been alternatively taking down the threats outlined in the marketing plan, and resisting Dirk Anger's efforts to capture them. Anyway, Devil Dinosaur was behind it all and he died. It was later claimed that none of the preceding events were actually real.

The Beyond Corporation later resurfaced on Earth when Jason Quantrell of Cortex accidentally reached out to them. One of their members impersonated him in order to use his plans to take over the world using products and brands which infected the public consciousness in order to slowly control society.

When Luke Cage and Jessica confronted Jason Quantrell, he revealed his true nature as a member of Beyond Corporation, and then teleported them to the void of space. They were rescued by the Blue Marvel, and managed to tell him about the situation in their hands.

As Specturm confronted "Jason," a team composed by Blue Marvel, Doctor Positron and Spider-Man infiltrated Cortex's HQ and tried to reprogram the portal used to bring the beings from Beyond Corporation into this world. They were able to reprogram it and open a portal to the Neutral Zone, where Blue Marvel's son Kevin Brashear had been left stranded. With the powers from his stay in said dimension, Kevin was able to return "Jason" back to Beyond Corporation's dimension.
