Bill Collins was Michael Collins's brother.[1]
When Michael was a boy, he had a toy including a rope with a bib marble on each end, that he tried to whip around and bounce the marbles off of each other. When Michael finally was succeeding at it, Bill then threw a sock at the rope, so as to infuriate Michael.[2]
Years later, Michael married Tracy, had a son, Nick, and got a cat Pascal. Michael later held a photo of him with Tracy, pre-teen Nick and Pascal, and tried to remember whether Bill had taken the photo, or if it had been Tracy's sister Arlene.[1]
