History

The Biokinetic Polymer Suit was invented by Bruno Carrelli as part of his scholarship application to Rutgers University. He gave the suit to his friend Kamala Khan to help with hero heroics.

With the X-Men's colors and logo

After discovering her mutant lineage and joining the X-Men, Kamala Khan redesigned her biokinetic polymer suit to resemble an X-Uniform. Ms. Marvel donned the suit while at Empire State University to help temper the anti-mutant sentiment spread by Orchis, but doing so resulted in her receiving anti-mutant backlash.

Properties

When the polymer, or "super snot", is applied to a flexible substance, the substance becomes extremely malleable. The increased elasticity allows Kamala to focus less on transforming her clothing during her metamorphoses. Unfortunately, the suit is highly susceptible to damage by exposure to water.

• Kamala described the suit as being made of polymorphic adaptive cotton.
