History
The Black Bile clan is one of the tribes of Dark Elves of Svartalfheim.[1]
Their leaders are known as the Lords of the Wild Hunt, as they bred massive hound dogs and have a rite of passage involving claiming the cubs of the wolf-goddess Nyaz.[1][2]
Many of that clan members died during the Forty-Third Troll War, including thirteen brothers and twelve sons of one of those brothers. His wife sold her last son Malekith sold to the Undertakers Elves of the Southern Swamps on the nineteenth years of the war, in exchange for food to her hounds of the Wild Hunt, for him to become a corpse burner instead of a soldier.[1]
Malekith grew grim in doing his labor, was captured by the Trolls met a wizard who trained him, and whom he killed when he asked Malekith to help him defeat war (as war defined the young Malekith).[1]
Before dying, the wizard marked Malekith, with half of his face black. Malekith then returned to his mother, took control of the Wild Hunt and had them eat her.[1]
Following Malekith's death in the War of the Realms, the Black Bile Clan returned to Svartalfheim, cowed, humiliated, and mourning the loss of their leader. To reclaim a measure of their former glory, a priestess enacted a rite wherein six warriors would set out to capture Nyaz's cubs as they had in days of old, with only one being permitted to return. Varuen, Kilereth, Morveita, Xetien, Y'Dreis, and Zeiste volunteered, unaware that the symbiote called Carnage had come to Svartalfheim intent on hijacking the rite for its own purposes.[2]Paraphernalia
