Synopsis for 1st story

T’Challa helps evacuate the people from the restaurant after the explosion. Vlad’s son gets trapped, and T’Challa asks him to help, but Vlad kills him and escapes. T’Challa tries to assist his employee, but he can’t do it without the help of Luke Cage, who shows up to provide brute strength. They finally make peace, and Cage offers his help once again. However, T’Challa gives him a rather absurd explanation about why he must act alone, and Cage accepts it.

Sofija also offers her help, saying she might be able to handle something. Later, Vlad breaks into Iris’s apartment, where he is temporarily stopped by Black Panther. Vlad manages to free himself, they fight, and then his younger son appears with Iris to kill him. But the boy betrays Iris and uses his powers to trap both her and Black Panther. Black Panther manages to break free, captures the boy, defeats Vlad, and when Iris tries to escape, Sofija shows up and knocks her out.

Black Panther asks Detective Kurtz for access to the detainees. He then wishes Iris well, while Vlad confronts him and blames him for his son’s arrest as well. The boy, in turn, bitterly reminds him that Brian is still alive somewhere in the city, though mentally broken. Black Panther sets out to find him, but the next day we see Dr. Holman speaking with Kraven, who apparently is preparing to hunt Brian.
