Synopsis for "O Ultimo Soldado"
Happens in 1876, 30 years after the last battle of the Californio's army against the USA army in the Mexican American war. Don Cristobal was a Californio that fought for Mexico in the war, and was badly innjured in the last battle. He had mental damamge and for 30 years he believed that he and his small army was still in war with the yanks.
Notes
- In this brasilian version, Matthew Masters was renamed Heron Robledo,but all his backstory was left the same.
- In this issue, RGE adapted a "Gringo" story from Selecciones ilustradas, changing only the appareance of the protagonist (A blonde unmasked cowboy) with the appareance of Hector Robledo/Black Rider. The original story was named :"The Last Soldier".[1]
