History

Little is known of the past and origins of the mysterious woman calling herself the Black Widow. She was a close confidant of Czar Colossus of Russia, who often referred to her by the name of her predecessor Natasha Romanova

At some point, Black Widow became the Russian ambassador to the United Kingdom, enjoying a friendly relationship with King Britain. When the king's castle was attacked by the Tong of Creel, the Widow helped defend him, though the Tong managed to escape with their prize; the chest-piece of the Absorbing Man.
