History
During the first battle against the Progenitors, Black Bolt along with his wife Medusa were taken by the cosmic beings for experimentation after they decimated the planet Earth.
The Black Bolt half of the Progenitor
During the 71st century, they returned due to the revival of the Moon King. When their ship opened up, Maximus and Noh-Varr were confronted with a Commander-Class Progenitor who was made up of the essences of both Black Bolt and Medusa transformed in a gestalt being.
The Commander-Class Progenitor first terminated Noh-Varr with Black Bolt's sonic scream and then focused it's powers towards the Moon King which caused a cascade effect which destroyed the Earth killing them all in the process.[1]
