History

Blackheart had kidnapped seven young women, including Liz Allan and Mary Jane Watson, in a ritual meant to help him unseat his father Mephisto. Spider-Man fought and defeated Blackheart, and it was eventually revealed that Mephisto was helping him all along in order to curb his son's ambitions.
