Early Life[]
Blackjack O'Hare is one of several animal test subjects evolved by a collection of robots. Blackjack later joined with other test subjects in a rebellion against their machine overlords, and frequently fought alongside Ranger and Wal Rus.
We Are Family[]
Back on Halfworld, the rebellion's leader, Pyko, used the robots' technology to evolve Ranger into an even more dangerous soldier, and soon after did the same to Blackjack and Wal Rus despite their objections. Ranger's younger brother, Rocket, de-evolved Blackjack Ranger, Wal Rus, and Pyko back to their original state.[1]Paraphernalia
