Notes
This final issue contains several important revelations/events:
- Lady Trident was identified as a Deviant human half-breed who composed her namesake weapons (which she called her Darkforce tridents) from the same dark force as her lord's Black Legacy. This is inconsistent with previous issues in which it was established that Tantalus and Lucian were the only two beings who commanded the Black Legacy.
- Touchstone was revealed to be a temporal anomaly who existed in all dimensional realities simultaneously. She later stated that one of her twenty-eight dimensional counterparts had been killed by Lady Trident, and then Tantalus used his death touch to kill more of them, repeating the process a total of 24 times before Mammoth stopped him. Touchstone was later revealed to be trapped in normal three-dimensional reality. However, by my count, 28 - 1 - 24 = 3 so three temporal counterparts of Touchstone should still exist.
- Dr. Maddox claimed that she survived Tantalus' death touch because she had ingested the Skrull Adrenaline Formula. However, this is something that was never shown or even implied in previous issues.
- Although Tantalus was seemingly destroyed by Blackwulf, Khult stated that he was not gone but had simply been "displaced" until his ego could recover from what had transpired that day.
- As a result of his siphoning the excess Black Legacy venom from his father, Lucian ended up red-eyed and with his black birthmark seemingly having spread to cover his entire body. His demand that Sparrow not touch him seemed to imply that skin-to-skin contact with him would now be deadly to anything organic.
