History
Blake Schiel was exposed to the frightening memory of her parents fighting at a young age, which lead to her following a bad path in life.
She was later involved in a bank robbery and was brought to jail where she first realized her mutant power. She then broke out of jail and came back to have her revenge, as Animax.[1]
Post Civil War II[]
To investigate the potential applications of Kid Kaiju's powers to their own interest, the New Intelligencia hired Animax to cause situation in Salt Lake City that required the intervention of Kid Kaiju and his monsters so the Intelligencia could gather information.[2]
She tried to rob an airport but was apprehended by the Champions.
Finding herself in Cheyenne, Wyoming Animax refused to be locked up in a 'loony bin' and started attacking people by summoning her monsters. She was stopped by Riri Williams, clad in her Iron Man-esque armor.[3]
Krakoa[]
Animax was eventually welcomed to the new mutant island of Krakoa, created by Xavier, Magneto, and Moira X. She entered through the teleportation gateway alongside other villainous and fractious mutants, who had been invited to join the nation in order to heal mutantdom and start over as a whole species together.[4] She eventually chose to join Madelyne Pryor and several other mutants who were no longer interested in Krakoa in the Limbo Embassy.[5] She was briefly captured by Orchis but luckily rescued by Nightcrawler.
