History

Blok was the super-strong Maori bodyguard for Mister X. He was mute.

At some point, Blok was present for a duel between his employer and Ogun, a martial artist who possessed young bodies. When Mister X defeated Ogun and killed his host, Ogun was forced to take the body of Blok. Ogun wanted to find a new martial artist host, and reasoned that staying close to Mister X was the best way to do that, as Mister X hunted fighters around the world in his quest to be "the best there is". Mister X, in a fit of ego, agreed to keep Ogun on as his bodyguard, provided he continued to answer to "Blok".
