Synopsis for 1st story

Blade gifts Brielle with a vampire hunting kit before they return home to find the house trashed and Safron missing. Blade tells Brielle to sleep over with her friends while he tracks down her mother. At school, Whitney goads Brielle into a fight, revealing that she has Safron's phone. Brought to the school office, Brielle is suspended, but not before learning that Whitney's foster father is Deacon Frost. Frost attacks Blade in the cemetery with both vampires and humans, capturing the hero. The vampire leader, revealed to be a clone, begins a ritual to take the power of the dhampir using Blade's blood, but is unable to produce the desired effects before Safron is able to break free and allowed to escape. Frost hopes that she will lead him to Brielle and that her blood may complete the ritual. Brielle escapes the school and meets with her friends, who tell her that she has their support before the trio are halted by two bright lights.

Blade stayed away from his daughter for years to keep her safe – but now the supernatural has come to Brielle’s door and struck a blow at the person she loves most!
