The intention of this thread is to discuss Marvel Cinematic Universe-movies made by Marvel Studios, whether they be old, new, or future ones. And also use the thread to bring light on news and announcements, and share speculations, on future movies.
While they can be mentioned or even brought up in context to the MCU, please refrain from delving too deep into discussing non-MCU movies. Whether they be:
Sony's Marvel movies, which include, but aren't limited to: Spider-Man Universe (SSU) franchise, and animated 'Spider-Verse' movies
20th Century Fox Marvel movies that were made pre-Disney acquisition (X-Men, Fantastic Four, Deadpool)
Movies not directly made by Marvel Studios and/or doesn't take place in the MCU (Earth-199999)
Movies based on creator-owned properties originally published by Marvel Comics (Kick-Ass, Kingsman, etc.)
SPOILER RULES: When a new movie comes out, spoilers will only be allowed to be brought up 2 weeks after the movie's US release date, to give as many people as possible the chance on catching up with it, and being able to join in on the discussions without getting spoiled. This includes sharing interview articles with cast & crew that discusses mid- and post-credit scenes. Any post that breaks this rule will be removed.
INTERACTION RULES: When discussing, please remember to remain civil and not toxic. Any post that breaks this rule will be removed.
SOURCES & NEWS RULES: If you're going to share news, or reference sources that back up your arguments, by linking to them, then make sure said sites are reliable. Linking to an article that summarizes events on social media is acceptable. But in terms of exclusive and breaking news stories, please only reference respected publications that rely on original reporting and confirming via reliable sources; and not blogs, forums or freelancers that rely on baseless speculation for the purpose of gaining clicks. (TL;DR: Don't reference obvious clickbait and speculation.) Any post that breaks this rule will be removed.
QUOTING FROM INTERVIEWS: If you're going to quote something said in an interview, make sure you give enough info to where it's not taken out of context, and others can check it for themselves. If it's from an article doing said interview, not only link it, but also highlight and quote the line you want to bring attention, with the full context. If it's from a video or podcast, transcribe the line that they've said, along with a timestamp of when in said interview it is being said. Please refrain from mentioning an interview that you haven't read or listened to yourself, and that you've only heard in passing. Also please refrain from sharing links to articles that only highlight interviews, which might take things out of context and jump to their own conclusions. Any post that breaks this rule will be removed.
