This is a reminder of the proper use of Minor edit. Edits should be marked as minor only for superficial changes like grammar or spelling corrections. If you're unsure, it's better to not mark any edit as a minor.

Just to clarify, does adding a category count as a minor edit?
Does changing wrong code count as a minor edit? Like from []example|example]] to example?
Marking edit as a minor is telling other contributors, that reviewing it would be just waste of time. That means category additions or removals should be major edits although the actual text would remain untouched as categories should be under peer review.
Fixing broken links like in that example does not change the meaning of article so it could be marked as minor. That also includes adding missing brackets and fixing other coding or layout errors. But minor edits are still optional and those fixes should not marked minor if you are even little unsure.
I see. Thanks for the reply, Mrkermit!
Oh, okay. Thanks :)
