History

Origin

Bobby Gomorra was a prisoner in the S.H.I.E.L.D's secret prison, The Cube. He was included by S.H.I.E.L.D's director Nick Fury into the Caterpillars, a group of potential recruits with superpowers that no one knows about and thus they couldn't have yet been compromised by Hydra or Leviathan. Gomorra was one of the three potential recruits assessed with a highest risk. Despite this, Gomorra was eventually recruited and assigned into Team Black under Alexander Pierce's leadership.

Last Ride of the Howling Commandos

Team Black was deployed to take part in a joint attack on Hydra's Hell's Heaven base in China along with the Howling Commandos PMC. The mission was successful with Team Black taking point on the infiltration of the base, allowing for a bomb to be detonated destroying the base. With their mission complete, Team Black made their own separate exit, not realizing that the Commandos would suffer a devastating battle against Hydra forces after they left.

Wheels Within Wheels

Having won his secret war against Hydra and Leviathan, Nick Fury pulled together all of the surviving members of the Secret Warriors and Howling Commandos together into a new organization sponsored by the United Nations. Team Black, now served in this organization under the overall command of Quake.

Amulet of Abbadon: Bobby Gomorra wields the Amulet of Abbadon that can open portals. Nick Fury assessed Gomorra as one of the three potential recruits with a highest risk, but it is unknown if it was due to the Amulet of Abbadon possessing some other powers or Gomorra himself being dangerous and/or unpredictable asset.
